I bought one back when they were new, the late 1800s, I think. When I upgraded later, I gifted that phone to my daughter as her first-ever iPhone. Later, when she upgraded—and abandoned the Appleverse 😳—she kept it and eventually gave it to my grandson, her firstborn. That was long ago; he still has it and uses it.
